Chapter One.

I sighed as the taxi pulled up outside the apartment block. I got out, and opened the boot, starting to haul the bags and suitcase I had brought with me. I was moving in to a new apartment, to get away from the memories of my ex in our last flat which we shared together. I closed the boot of the taxi and glanced up at the building, which now loomed high above me. I bit my lip, and paid the taxi driver, starting to drag the bags and suitcase towards the front doors of the building which was now darkening against the snowy winter sky. I walked inside, and glanced around nervously before walking over to the concierge’s desk to collect my apartment key. Bad memories flashed through my mind but I quickly pushed them to the back of my head as the concierge handed me my key. I smiled gratuitously at him and looked at the number. I knew I was on the top floor, and I was so glad there was lifts but I didn’t realise how high up it was. Or how slow the elevator travelled. I sighed, and checked my watch again. Ten minutes since I got in this thing and I was nearing the top floor, with only three more floors to go. Another five minutes later and I was standing inside the apartment. It was so big, I was surprised that I was the only one living there. Or so I thought. I froze as I heard a noise coming from what must have been the kitchen, as it sounded like a tin dropping.
“H-hello?..” I called out nervously. I squealed a little when a curly mop of hair and a pair of blue eyes peeked out from the kitchen doorway. They chuckled and stepped out, showing their full body.
“Hi. I take it you’re Emma?”
I nodded, confused.
“I’m Jay. I guess you didn’t know I’d be living here, eh?”
I nodded again.
“Well, I’m living here with you or you’re living with me for a while, however you want to see it.” he smiled warmly and held his hand out. I smiled in return and shook his hand. Well, this could be interesting.

Chapter Two.

“So, how long have you been living here?” I asked curiously as I put my handbag down on the floor. He smiled. It was wonky, but somewhat sexy, yet adorable at the same time.
“Around a week, maybe less.” he shrugged carelessly.
“I see.. Could I ask you something? It’s not anything personal, like what your dick size is, I just want.. I just said that out loud didin’t I?” I blushed bright red as Jay burst out laughing.
“Oh my god.. Well, we don’t know each other that long, so you can take that as a no, you can’t know my dick size.” he giggled.
“Shut up, I say things before I think them.” I huffed.
“Okay, okay, I’m sorry. What did you want to ask?” he smiled.
“If it’s only the two of us, why is it such a big flat?” I looked at him confusedly.
He smiled.
“I guess Jayne didn’t tell you?”
“Tell me what? She said I was only staying with someone, just so I can get their sense of style worked out and then I’ve got the job..”
“Well, when she said their, she meant there would be more than one of us.” he smiled.
“Oh, er.. I see..”
“Trust me, you’ll get the jib, we’re pretty easy to look after.”
“Look after? I am not your maid.”
“Oh, I didn’t mean it like that..” he looked worried.
I laughed at his adorable expression.
“I’m kidding. When are the others getting here?”
“Tomorrow, I just wanted to get everything ready for when they got here.”
“Oh. I better unpack then.”
“Want any help?”
“No, I’m, okay, thank you.”
“You sure?”
“Yeah, thank you anyway. Oh, erm, which room’s mine?” I smiled at him.
“Third on the left down the hall.”
“Thank you, again.” I called over my shoulder as I walked off, smiling to myself. Jay was really nice and polite. I opened the door, and gasped slightly. The wardrobes, drawers and bed were already set up. The walls were white and the window was slightly open. I walked over and looked out as I sat on the low ledge. The view was amazing and the ledge was like a seat. I got up, and started unpacking my clothes carefully putting them into the wardrobe and drawers before finally flopping backwards onto the bed, exhausted.
